Is it possible to recharge a non-rechargeable battery?
Introduction-
As a safety precaution, do not attempt to recharge any battery unless you are sure that the battery is rechargeable. An ordinary non-rechargeable battery contains some very dangerous chemical that can come out of the battery if it is subjected to recharging.
So is it possible to recharge a non-rechargeable battery?
It is generally believed that the ordinary non-rechargeable batteries(alkaline) cannot be recharged. But it's not completely true, yes, they can be recharged but this will over-heat the battery and the chemicals present inside the battery will slowly come out of it. In some cases, the battery may explode. So, it is possible to charge a non-rechargeable battery but doing this may destroy it.
What happens when you recharge a non-rechargeable battery?
As I mentioned above that recharging a non-rechargeable battery may damage it, but the exception is always there-In some cases(if you are lucky enough), there is a chance that the battery may recover its charge but not completely without damaging the battery.
Now, it's your decision, if you want to recharge the batteries or not.
Warning- Charging a non-rechargeable battery is dangerous, try it at your own risk.
